Innovative Solutions
The Vienna Museum of science and technology was transformed to a permanent video installation. Every night starting at sunset the front of the museum opens up to reveal a glimpse of the exhibitions inside. In a collaboration with Lucas Dikany, we created an immersive exhibition that conveys the core themes of the museums to the public in an innovative way. This permanent 3D mapping installation is the first of its kind in the public space in Austria.
The Themes
The exhibition runs automatically on a bespoke piece of software based on the program touchdesigner. We created the content in a multitude of ways, from classic 2D and 3D animation, in real-time algorithmically created visuals, scenes running in videogame engines as well as parts created by artificial intelligence reflects the themes of the museum of technology. The content created corresponds to exhibitions inside the museum and makes passers-by curious what’s inside : Artificial Intelligence, Space Travel, Renewable Energy and Food Systems.
